Mary Lee is the name of my grandmother, she is now my ancestor. My grandmother, along with many of my ancestors give me divine guidance and protection and remind me that on this journey that if I am going to help and heal others I must help and heal myself. To make a mark in this world I must stand true to myself and never fold on my beliefs.“God is not the church, you are the church.” - Mary Lee. When my grandmother used to say this I never understood, but now I do. Same thing goes in regards to your ancestors, you are the altar, you are living proof that your ancestors exists. Don’t ever let anything or anyone come in between you and your relationship with your ancestors and the source that guides us all.
